It all Makes Sense, now!

Recently, I was talking with my bro about same ol' political stuff. In the world of politics, how can you discuss and not mention Bush? Now, I know I'm an ignoramous just like the other 95% of Americans out there when it comes to politics and world affairs, but I never knew the Bush family made money from oil. That's news to me. I knew they lived in Texas, but never knew they were a Texan oil family. But after hearing that, it all makes sense! The war in the Middle East, I mean. Dating all the way back to Bush Sr.

We all know that the ONLY reason why the U.S. has interest in the Middle East is because that's where the majority of the world's oil comes from. The U.S., as a political entity, couldn't give a rat's ass about freedom, equal rights, women's rights, etc in the Middle East or in any other part of the world for that matter. You never saw the U.S. declaring war on South Africa to end apartheid, or sent troops in to Japan to protect women's rights, or fought with China for the atrocities of the Chinese goverment against its own people during the Tianemen Square Massacre, right? Why? None of these nations control the majority of the world's oil production.

Now, we all make fun of the Bushes because they're bumbling idiots. They are dumb; but they are not so dumb. By declaring the war in Iraq under the facade of "freeing the oppressed" and "war on terrorism", the Bushes are in fact making themselves richer. How? Since this war on Iraq and Desert Storm, gas prices jumped because oil reserves were suddenly threatened. "There might not be enough oil because we're fighting with our major oil supplier, now. Better increase the prices because there might not be any left." That translates to more money for the Bushes since they're major investors in the oil industry. There was always the theory that Bush was helping out his buddies in the oil industry with this war, and the war 10 years ago. But I couldn't be absolutely certain about that. Now that I know Bush is an oil-money family, I'm certain.

Now, what confuses me is why does the Middle East and guys like bin Ladden continue to oppose the U.S. and the Bush family? Because by doing so, by continuing to fight with the U.S., they are in fact making the Bush family richer and more powerful. As the war continues, gas prices continue to increase and the Bushes make more money. By not fighting, the oil companies have no excuse to price-gouge and so prices would stay low, and Bush wouldn't be making as much. Unless...Bush was in league with these guys, asking them to intentionally create trouble and to fight and be relentless. That would give Bush the perfect reason to retaliate.

Okay, I think I've been watching waaaaay too much X-files.
