Hi!
Well, what's the point of having a blog if you're not going to write in it, eh? What's amazing about these blog things is that they're almost like writing in a diary, except it's out there for all to see. Even funnier is that bloggers want other people to see what they write in these electronic diaries. How odd.
So after watching my girlfriend waste countless hours in front of the computer reading other blogs, I had a great idea: how about I create a blog of my own that we can both waste countless hours on? Actually, the motivation behind the Rehab Ice Rink's creation was my brother's wedding, which happened August 2004. After countless hours spent reformatting and posting his wedding pictures on my yahoo photo album, and then emailing the entire family to go view it, I thought, why not just create a blog and let them all come and see and post comments, blah, blah, blah? So here it is! In the meantime, I can post other cool things like pictures of Team Canada, Jet Li, etc. And now that I have a digital camera, I'll be posting more photos of me and Richel and Chicago.
Why the Rehab Ice Rink? No, it isn't a blog about crippled and injured skaters and hockey players. I'm a resident in the field of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (no, that does not mean I'm a physical therapist). If you're wondering what a rehab doc is, visit www.aapmr.org. So there it is. Have fun, and skate at your own risk. "Take off, you hoser."
